Archery Club Sagittarius Malacky
Fighting in the Middle Ages must have been cruel.
The following photos also prove this.
An arrow fired from a cavalry bow from a distance of approximately 20 m. The arrow with a metal tip and a wooden body was able to pierce an iron helmet made of armor with a thickness of 2 mm.
This happened as a test at this year's MARWAN. Of course, no one was hurt. No one was wearing armor :-)
